My technique in working with acrylic paints is a variation of ‘drip painting’, a style of ‘action painting’ and a form of Abstract Expressionism.
Most paintings are on gallery wrap canvases or cradled boards with 1 .5″ deep edges that are painted and don’t need framing.
Pieces on narrower canvas are floater framed in black and most paintings on boards are in handmade wooded frames painted to match the artwork.
Paintings on rag printmaking or watercolor papers are mounted on gallery wrap canvases or cradled boards with painted edges, and don’t need framing.
