For the last 2 days I have been working on a cormorant painting of the seabird drying its wings in the sun. Cormorants don't have well-developed oil glands so they lack waterproofing and are often seen drying their feathers perched on rocks with their wings stretched out.     Comments

I finished my second grizzly bear painting and made a list of several titles before settling on Hibernation's Over. Sometimes the titles come very easily to me and at other times it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't get it out!
I worked a painting of 3 cormorants ready to leave the nest. I was striving for that flourescent shine they have on their black feathers, and feel it was a success!     Comments
