Every attempt will be made to paint ‘plein air’ however, water and pastel don’t mix! If the weather is not cooperative, we will paint under cover at The Hound’s Tooth Inn.

This package contains registration information, a tentative schedule and suggested supply list for your workshop. Please pack as light as possible while still bringing what you need.

During your workshop, you’ll find a wealth of subjects to paint: a pond, the ocean and rocky coastline, boats, lighthouses, seafowl, flowers, gardens, foliage and lovely vistas. As the light moves across the landscape it gives the painter an endless stream of possibilities for discovery. The area was chosen for our workshop because of the variety in this...and to hopefully capture the essence of Maine’s beauty. We’ll also have a side trip on Wednesday to the Wright Gallery.
